Curated Content Definition

What is Curated Content?

Curated content definition: curated content is relevant third-party content that has been found by a content curator to display on a brand’s owned marketing channels.

Curated content often comes in the form of:

  • Images
  • Videos
  • Reports
  • News Stories

There are lots of different types of content curation that can be used.

The simplest – and probably most common – form is resharing third-party content on a marketing channel like social media. But, styles of curated are constantly growing and changing.

For example:

Wisecrack uses film and television footage to create “original” curated content where they discuss the philosophy of pop culture.
