Let's Talk About The Facebook & Instagram API Changes

Facebook is currently introducing new measures to ensure increased privacy and security of data throughout their ecosystem.

At Loomly, making sure your data is safe and secure is our top priority and we fully support Facebook’s effort here, which we believe is in the best interest of the entire Facebook community, from users to brands and developers.

These changes to the Facebook & Instagram APIs are modifying the way third-party applications interact with data, potentially impacting functionality.

As far as Loomly is concerned, the following three features are getting disabled for now:

IMPORTANT UPDATE: publishing to Facebook Groups & @mentions of Facebook Pages have both been reinstated.

All your other favorite features will keep working as usual, on Facebook and all other platforms.

We are honored to have the opportunity to build Loomly for you every day and we will go on doing so in full compliance with the terms of service of the Facebook & Instagram APIs — just like we always have.

As usual, if you have any question about Loomly, or if you just want to say hi, feel free to reach out to us in the chat or to send us a note at support@loomly.com.

Sincerely,

The Loomly Team.
