It is always a pleasure for our team to release an update and make new features available for you all.
While this is not a major update — unlike native scheduling features or your newest post builder — it has a very particular flavor, as many of you have been requesting it for a while now: metadata customization.
Behind this technical wording, lie some very specific new possibilities, and you can now:
- Share a “link” on Facebook, while removing the actual link from the copy.
- Customize meta title, description and image on Facebook & LinkedIn.
- Leverage Twitter Cards to tweet rich links.
- Use two different links on Pinterest (one in the copy, one in the metadata).
And, that’s all for today…
… but as usual, stay tuned for more in the near future, as we have some really nice new features in store for you.
Thank you so much for your constructive feedback, your unconditional support and your enduring patience.
EDIT: starting July 18, 2017 it is no longer possible to customize metadata on Facebook.
